Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is the daughter of her Russian mother and Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. In her early teens, she created a choreography that earned her a slot on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden who transforms into an energetic Indian dancer. When she graduated from the high school level in New York, she received her bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. Following school, she began acting classes in the HB Studio, but she moved on to study improvisation at the Groundlings School taking on several comedy projects thereafter. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru and the Russian mother Olga. Her parents separated at the age of 13 older and they moved from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell on FX's The Americans. The actress is most famous for her role as the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. Her other roles included recurring ones in The Following on Fox, The Following as well as NBC's The Blacklist.
